Equipment

  • Silicone Mold or Glass Dish

Ingredients

Gelatin Base

  • 1 cup water ½ cup hot, ½ cup cold
  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin powder like Knox or grass-fed gelatin
  • 1–2 tsp fresh lemon juice or apple cider vinegar for flavor and digestion
  • 1 tsp sweetener monk fruit, stevia, or honey

Instructions

  • Heat ½ cup of water until steaming, then pour into a heat-safe mug or bowl.
  • Sprinkle the gelatin powder into the hot water while stirring. Mix until fully dissolved; some foam is normal.
  • Stir in the lemon juice or apple cider vinegar and your chosen sweetener.
  • Add the cold ½ cup of water to cool the mixture down quickly.
  • Pour the liquid into a silicone mold or glass container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  • Once firm, cut into cubes and store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Notes

Consume 2–4 cubes 15–30 minutes before meals to reduce hunger. Avoid raw pineapple or kiwi as they prevent proper setting. For variety, try flavor twists like strawberry-lemon, ginger-lime, or mint ACV. Use silicone molds for convenient prep.
